About Gav

✨ Gav – The Little Miracle Who Sees with His Heart ✨

Some souls are incredibly lucky despite the hardships they have endured, and they deserve nothing less than the very best. Gav is one of those little heroes.

Found wandering the streets of Loutraki, Greece, blind and not yet a year old, no one knows how he managed to survive for so long without sight. When a kind-hearted veterinarian met him, she immediately placed him in a carrier and brought him to the safety of her clinic.

Gav spent many months living in a cage at the veterinary clinic, simply because no one wanted to adopt a blind black cat. One of his eyes required surgery and was permanently closed, and he received treatment and antibiotics while recovering from illness. But despite everything he had been through, Gav never lost his spirit.

Today, he has blossomed into a fluffy little ball of joy, with an endless love for food and an irresistible curiosity about the world around him. Though he cannot see the world, he explores it bravely and with confidence.

Gav is a small miracle. His blindness does not define him. He is, in every other way, a perfectly normal cat—he eats, drinks, plays, and enjoys life. A little shy at first, once he learns to trust, he becomes a deeply affectionate companion, full of gratitude for the second chance he was given instead of the certain death that awaited him on the streets.

And perhaps the most beautiful thing about Gav is his gentle soul. He gets along wonderfully with other cats. Even at his foster home, where some cats occasionally bully him because of his disability, Gav never retaliates. He never attacks, never holds grudges, and always chooses peace. His kind and forgiving nature shines through in everything he does.

He absolutely adores canned food and starts purring the moment he hears it being prepared. He is vaccinated, neutered, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

All Gav asks for is someone who can look beyond his blindness and see the beautiful soul within. In return, this brave little boy will give unconditional love, quiet companionship, and endless affection to the person who opens their heart and home to him.

🐾 Could you be the happy ending this little miracle has been waiting for? 🖤
