About Sadie

Sadie – A Little Survivor Looking for Her Forever Home ❤️🐾

Sadie is a beautiful, incredibly sweet and affectionate little girl, now around four months old. But her life began with a fight for survival.

At just six weeks old, during the scorching Greek summer, Sadie was found alone on a pavement in Athens, slowly dying from severe heatstroke. She was extremely weak, desperately thin and struggling to breathe in the unbearable heat. She had no access to food or water, and at first, we were not sure she would make it.

She was rushed immediately to a veterinarian, where she received emergency treatment, IV fluids, vitamins and the medication she needed. Thankfully, Sadie proved to be a tiny but incredibly brave survivor. She wanted to live. ❤️

Within just a few days, she made a remarkable recovery. She started eating, gaining strength and finally behaving like the happy little kitten she was meant to be.

Today, Sadie is an absolute sweetheart. She adores people and will do anything to get into your arms! She climbs up your legs, using your trousers and even your slippers as little steps to reach you. The moment you enter the room, she comes running to greet you, purring constantly and making biscuits. She simply loves being close to people.

She is also wonderful with other cats. Sadie is gentle, respectful and never bullies or bothers anyone. She happily shares her space with other cats, and with some of her foster friends she loves to play, cuddle and groom each other. ❤️

Sadie is vaccinated and microchipped. She will soon be tested for FIV and FeLV and will be spayed when she reaches the appropriate age.

For her forever home, we would love Sadie to have a secure, protected balcony, where she can safely enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.

We would also ideally like her to have a calm and friendly cat companion, as she truly enjoys the company of other cats. It is also possible for Sadie to be adopted together with one of her friends from her foster home.

After everything this little girl has survived, Sadie deserves nothing less than a safe and loving forever home, where she can finally forget the difficult beginning of her life and simply be the happy, spoiled little cat she was always meant to be. ❤️🐾
