About us

Stray to Stay Greece is a non-profit rescue organization dedicated to helping stray cats in Athens, Greece.

Our dream is a Greece where no stray cat suffers from hunger, fear, pain, or abandonment — a world where every animal is treated with compassion, respect, and dignity, and where no life is considered invisible or unwanted.

Through rescue, medical care, rehabilitation, sterilization, and responsible adoptions, we work every day to give vulnerable cats a second chance at life. Many of the cats we save are injured, sick, abandoned, or born on the streets with little hope of survival. With patience, care, and love, we help them heal and eventually find safe and loving forever homes.

A large part of our work also focuses on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs, helping to humanely reduce the stray cat population and prevent future suffering. We strongly believe that real change begins with empathy, awareness, education, and action.

Behind every rescue is a team of dedicated volunteers working tirelessly to provide food, veterinary care, shelter, and emotional support to cats in need. Every life we save matters deeply to us.
